XSPC has priced this Raystorm RS240 in the perfect segment, actually taking on the AIO guys with the price matching the H220 from Swiftech and actually a bit cheaper than solutions from Corsair. While the H220 does offer expandability in its AIo configuration, XSPC offers a full custom kit allowing you to swap out fittings for those high dollar shiny ones and even the custom touch of LED lighting built into the block and reservoir. If you are in the market for water cooling, I would definetly recommend you take a quick look at xs-pc.com and look at the solutions in their portfolio.
Even though they are inexpensive, these are impressive fans. They cool well. They aren’t noisy. The 120 mm fans are handsome and solidly built. Their RPM specs are accurate, and their SPL specs are honest. They are inexpensive.
Compared to the V1 model, I much prefer the new V4 model for several reasons. The switch to molded nylon ensures a durable product that is crack resistant where acrylic is more fragile. I also like the general construction quality better as the o-rings and casting all look very controlled.
Unlike the kit pumps which are maxing out at .5GPM with just the pump, the XSPC X2O 500 is capable of sustaining 1.2 GPM in a CPU only loop and 1GPM in a CPU + Dual GPU + Three Radiators type of condition.
XSPC delivers a really powerful system which clearly places first amongst the systems I have tested up till now. Quality and performance is top notch while the system at the same time doesn't make much noise.
